As a landscape architect and professional horticulturist I yearned for a glove that wouldn’t impede my sense of touch. I tried every garden glove on the market but never found one that fit well and could be worn all day.
My search for a tactile friendly glove led me to try dress gloves from the 1950’s. The classic dress glove was designed to fit snugly, offering great sensitivity, but the fabric wasn’t designed to withstand the harsh conditions of digging in the soil.
Thus began my quest to develop the kind of glove that I wanted and that I believe other gardeners want, too. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
My three gardening daughters and a special friend will know I love them, once they try these wonderful gloves. Thank you for your excellent product and service.
I have been buying and wearing these gloves for several years. I use them for everyday wear in cold weather, great for driving because they are lightweight. Once they begin to show wear I move them to garden use until I wear holes in the fingers! The last pairs I received seem to be about an inch longer than previous ones.
Awesome gloves! They’re my go-to gloves when the cooler weather arrives. Just bought a new pair to replace ones that finally wore out.
If I don't have to worry about actual thorns, barbs, or spikes on Florida shrubs and trees, I still need to protect my arms as I thrust them under bushes. Not wearing my Elle Gloves, I've been stabbed by pruned branches, and abraded by roughened bark. Thank you for protecting my aging arms. Can you make Elles with reinforced finger tips?
I landscape in FL where I am forced to do battle with thorny Bougainvillea, spikey Reclinata Palms and barbed citrus. Foxglove Gauntlets do not impede my fingers but save my arms!
These gloves are totally amazing . I purchased them because of very thin skin on my hands and arms. Since wearing them I gladly say ,not one new bruise. I also have the long ones but too warm in gl
These were a recommendation from a friend & I’ve been waiting for them to become available again after the long season of pandemic inspired gardening. They are so comfortable that I’ve been purchasing for all my gardening friends. They’re almost like compression gloves massaging as I go, and so thin that I’m less likely to go gloveless in the pursuit of weeds. The fancy opera length protects my arms from thorn scratches so it’s a win win.
They arrived so quickly too!
These gloves fit my hands well and I love gardening with the on. They are soft and cling to my little hands perfectly. That being said-they do run small~I ordered a medium but knew that from having tried them on in a store in Alaska many years ago!
I bought these gloves because of raynaud's, needing to keep my fingers warm and still live and work, maintaining a productive life, and with these I am able to continue in my daily activities!
They are true to size. Soft, flexible and warm. I can put other gloves over them, allowing for additional warmth and protection during colder times of the day or night. They are just what I needed.
THEY ARE WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS. FIT PERFECTLY.
I have order these gloves for several years and I love them for doing the garden. They are easy to wash also.
Just completed my second purchase from Fox Gloves and am very pleased. They have excellent communication and fast shipping. I purchased the Protex Open Finger gloves with the small rubber gripping surface on the palms for improved handling. Highly recommend !!
The History of My FoxGloves From the early & TERRIFIC nylon without fingertips to worn out to new and everything in between.
My friends mother gave me a pair of Foxgloves during a visit this summer while we were sharing satirizes if our gardening affections. I’ve had a substantial vegetable garden for the past 5 years and have always dealt with cracking/hard gloves that ultimately do not protect my hands. Until now! I love my Foxgloves and bought a pair for all my gardening people for Christmas. My favorite part is no matter how much dirt I cake on them they come out brand new from the laundry. Genius!
The gloves are my Christmas gift to my mom who has Rheumatoid Arthritis. She has small hands but the small size gloves were a little too tight so she traded them in for a medium and loves them!!
