As a landscape architect and professional horticulturist I yearned for a glove that wouldn’t impede my sense of touch. I tried every garden glove on the market but never found one that fit well and could be worn all day.
My search for a tactile friendly glove led me to try dress gloves from the 1950’s. The classic dress glove was designed to fit snugly, offering great sensitivity, but the fabric wasn’t designed to withstand the harsh conditions of digging in the soil.
Thus began my quest to develop the kind of glove that I wanted and that I believe other gardeners want, too. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
We had an exchange and it was so smooth just like your gloves
These were a Christmas present for my husband, but they may end up in my tool/gardening box instead!
This is my third pair of Foxgloves Gauntlet gloves I have purchased. First pair were large and found out I needed medium but I just passes them along to my husband.
I love these gloves as they are the best garden/yard work gloves I have ever owned. I really can work in the dirt and not bring my yard in under my nails. They save my arms and hands from getting cut up which is awesome.
And lastly they save my hands from becoming sore and achy after a hard day in the yard which means I can go back to more yard work sooner.
I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!
I have still not received my order. Can you please verify that it has been sent.
Both my husband and I (and a few lucky friends) have worn Foxgloves for the past 12 years. They are a gardener's best companion, making every task easier and faster and more precise. A high-five to Foxgloves!
These are the best garden gloves I have ever owned. They are thin enough to have the dexterity you need when working with small delicate plants, but amazingly protective when working with prickly plants. On top of that no dirt gets inside the gloves.
Soft, very comfortable and work great.
I bought a pair of the egloves and the protective gloves as a present to my niece, who was recently diagnosed with having sclermoderma. She loved the gloves, but found that the size was too small even for her "teeny" hands. She was able to exchange with no difficulty and had a helpful conversation with the lady responding to her call. I have bought three pairs of Foxgloves for myself, (so far) as I like to putter in my garden and paint - I try to take really good care of my hands : ) and the gloves help a lot.
During the pandemic I think wearing gloves is as important as wearing a mask. Foxgloves are perfect! They are affordable, come in beautiful colors and wash very easily.
Fabulous hat...the selected size [medium], color and fit are all perfect! The near-month delay from your shipping date was not your fault!
I ordered these for gardening. Now realize the grip gloves can be used for many other tasks while waiting for Spring. I have very small hands and have a hard time getting garden gloves to fit. These fit so well, nice and snug. Grippers seem tough. And the purple Iris color matches the purple Irises in my garden! It took 17 days first class for the package during holiday season from NY to PA.
I bought them because my Raynaud’s is bad this winter and I was hoping to wear them while going about my business inside the home and in the kitchen without feeling like I have bulky work gloves on. I expected them to be close fitting and stretchy like a second skin. They do not work for this as the material is thicker and stiffer than expected (thicker and less flexible than the old white gloves we wore to church in the 50s) and the seams on the fingers are bulky and annoying and prevent feeling anything with the fingertips. Also, you can’t use a touchscreen with these gloves. I think they might work ok for outdoor work so they are going in the garden box.
can not review something I have not received yet.
I have had mine for several years and love them for heavy duty yard work. They protect your hands and arms.
I just purchased pairs for my sisters as gifts.
I recently ordered two pairs of Fox Work gloves, a red pair and a green pair. This makes the third pair of the red I have. I wear them constantly, throw them in the wash machine, and then wear them some more. Even though they develop holes from so much wear, they are still useable for lots of jobs. Prior to using this type of Foxglove, I had always ordered the original Foxgloves for years - ever since I found a pair on clearance in the Loveland, Co. Hospital gift shop ( the only good thing that came out of my Mother's hospitalization in 2002.) I am a confirmed user of this brand of gardening/work glove.
