As a landscape architect and professional horticulturist I yearned for a glove that wouldn’t impede my sense of touch. I tried every garden glove on the market but never found one that fit well and could be worn all day.
My search for a tactile friendly glove led me to try dress gloves from the 1950’s. The classic dress glove was designed to fit snugly, offering great sensitivity, but the fabric wasn’t designed to withstand the harsh conditions of digging in the soil.
Thus began my quest to develop the kind of glove that I wanted and that I believe other gardeners want, too. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Foxgloves are a necessity at my home. I have several pair and will be ordering more soon.
My first pair was a gift and I found they were the best gloves ever! Comfortable, tough, and they do a good job of protecting your hands. They wash beautifully, too!
Birthday gift for my sister, who does a lot of outdoor work in brushy terrain. She loves them!
love the gloves
Useful for most of my gardening tasks, and they do double duty as stylish skin protection.
I have been wearing these gloves for many years. They are the absolute best! They fit a smaller hand really well, as it's hard to find a good rugged work glove for women. I am between sizes S and M so I have a pair of both. That way I can do woodworking and finer detail work with smaller pair, and more rugged work with the M pair. They last a long time, are really well made, are comfortable, very cool looking AND they wash really well! In the past, I have bought two pairs of the two colors and then sent my daughter on the west coast one green right glove and one red left glove. That way we are matched and balanced across the country! I very highly recommend these gloves. You will not be disappointed! Thank you, Foxglove!
Love the Elle Grip Long gloves. So does nmy family. Use them as gifts for friends as well.
This hat is so comfortable. It is rare for me to find a hat that fits my large head but this one does. I haven't washed it yet but I am sure it will be fine. The only problem I had was choosing a color. The purple is vivid but I may have to order another one in something completely different. The value is excellent.
These glove fit so perfect, are comfortable, protect me perfectly and i am no longer breaking out in a rash while working in the yard. Couldn't be happier.
Durable, comfortable, and wash well. I depend on these gloves to protect my hands.
These gloves were recommended by my physical therapist to help alleviate arthritis swelling and pain. Seem to be working!
I am an avid gardener and these gloves have been my "go to" for years. I don't like clunky heavy gloves that you feel apart from the earth. These gloves fit your hand, clean easily, and are tough.
I love these gloves. I own a short and long pair. I have given them as gifts and everyone loves how they fit and how you can feel what you are doing. My friend who has very large hands was so happy that they fit her so nicely.
I have looked everywhere I know without success to find gloves like these. I had gotten dismayed that I could not find protective gardening gloves that go to my elbows to protect against the frequent occurrence of poison ivy, oak, and sumac because I have developed an intolerance as I have gotten older. I cannot recommend these wonderful protective gloves enough. I would rate them a 10 on a scale of 5! I had given up working in my garden and my daughter's yard after yet another series of shot and meds and creams and sprays recently, but now I'm able to actually get back out there and pull weeds AND the poison plants, and I'm once again loving it. These Foxgloves are wonderful, comfortable, protective, durable, easy to get on and off, and simply make yard work easier to get done and be comfortable and confident that the next project won't be a trip to the doctor or clinic. Try them!
have been wearing Foxgloves for over 10 years. By far the most comfortable gloves I own. Love the length as my forearms get scratched while working and my skin is sensitive when harvesting zucchini and cucumbers and a few other crops with prickles on the leaves.
They last far longer than the nitrile palm&finger gloves which get holes in the finger tips within 2 months of use for me. Foxgloves eventually get holes in fingertips, but not nearly as fast as nitrile gloves.
I've used Foxgloves for several years now and been thru several pairs. Without a doubt the best gardening gloves on the market.
Would not want to do without them.
I recently gave 4 pairs of gloves as presents. They were an immediate hit. great for anything, driving, gardening, moving boxes, protection from the virus. Just wonderful and comfortable gloves. One of the recent recipients is a postal delivery person, she is thrilled, the grip on the mail and the boxes is easier and they feel and look much better than the postal issue of the bright blue gloves you see when you go to the PO. and I love them too.
I bought my first pair of Foxgloves about 6 years ago after getting tired of going through 3 pr of cheap garden gloves each year. These are the best gloves!! They fit perfectly and the fabric is very comfortable. I just bought a second pair to have available when my first pair is in the wash. I bought 2 pr to give to family members, too.
I love these gloves. The extra length is great when working in the garden. No more scrapes and scratches up and down my arms.
Six years ago I was fortunate to be able to be in Belize for a month with a archaeologist. She recommended Fox Gloves for us. I bought a pair and they were great! Fit snug, had grips when needed and in the hot muggy jungle they were not uncomfortabe.
I have now bought my second pair for gardening.
Love them for all the same reasons
Better than typical gardening gloves -- because of the form fit I have more dexterity. The four-way stretch makes them comfortable. The silicone grip ovals are great because I can ride my bike with them which is often how I get to the community garden. The sun protection with these gloves seems to be more effective than sunscreen.
I purchased two pairs of these gloves and have been so pleased with their performance. They are well designed, comfortable, long-lasting, and no matter how filthy I get them, they look like new after laundering.
My daughter and her husband just purchased their first home. She and I garden together and the Foxgloves gloves are her favorite, so I am designing a Housewarming Gift Basket of essential gardening supplies to include your wonderful gloves. I have five pairs in easy to locate colors and they are the first item I reach for when heading outside.
This is my fifth pair of Foxgloves, but my first pair of Protexgloxes. the others have been for outside work. I really appreciate all my Forgloves, but the Protexgloves meet and exceeded my expectations. They work well as compression gloves. I have both bad joints and nerve damage and these gloves make my arms feel relaxed and well protected. I will be buying more in the future.
I really like my fox gloves very much .
I just would like them to go on sale once in a while
This is my third pair of Foxgloves - love them. The only unfortunate part is that I put them away at the end of the season and forget where I put them, so, this is my third pair. Maybe a pair in a fluorescent color would be a good thing? Or maybe, I should just put them in my garden bag at the end of the season....
I had the classic Foxgloves which I loved so much I wore out the thumb and index finger. I moved up to the Works version and they are great! I'm so happy with them and I recommend them to everyone!
Just used my new 3/4 length gloves with non-slip palms on a bike ride, and they worked wonderfully! They're sturdy, well-made, & comfortable, and they'll be perfect for keeping sun off my hands this summer when I hike (with poles) or bike or even just walk. Thank you, they seem like a wonderful product.
I ordered these to replace the ones I received several years ago as a gift. I completely love these gloves. I had worked holes in several fingers and repaired them but after another year of use and new holes came I decided it was time to buy new gloves. This lime green color Is easy to spot if you take them off in the garden and the long arms are protection against poison ivy. After many years gardening, I am happy to say foxgloves are the best I have used.
I love these gloves. I had another pair that lasted for years and were my go to gloves. I lost one of them in a recent move and was so happy to find these gloves online. They protect my hands while still feeling as though I’m not wearing gloves. They are worth the money.
I finally wore through my first pair of Elle gloves (purchased over 10 years ago) and replaced them with two new ones (both lengths). I have a large flower garden and love being able to feel what I’m doing, whether planting or weeding. Plus the length is great protection from poison ivy. And the gauntlets are indispensable for trimming my rose arbors and doing heavy clean up. I love these gloves.
