Collection: Scleroderma
Scleroderma is a connective tissue disease that involves changes in the skin, blood vessels, muscles, and internal organs. The cause of scleroderma is not clearly known. Some types of scleroderma affect only the skin, while other affect the whole body. Localized scleroderma usually affects only the skin on the hands and face. The disease usually affects people 30 to 50 years old. Women get scleroderma more often than men.
Symptoms include joint pain, numbness and pain in the feet, stiffness and swelling of fingers and joints, wrist pain and sores on fingertips.
Protexgloves are soft and comfortable, protect the fingertips, and support the hand and wrist. The grip style provides secure holding power for people who suffer from compromised hand strength.
